It's that time of year again! We begin looking back on this year and wondering what we can do to improve next school year. Homeschool conferences provide a great opportunity for evaluating teaching methods and planning the next year along with getting great deals and ideas for curriculum! If you have not attended a homeschool conference, I highly encourage you to do so.
Midwest Parent Educators host a conference & curriculum fair each year in the Kansas City area. Information for this conference is found below:
"Building on the Foundation"
April 8-9, 2011
KCI Expo Center
A kids program is provided throughout the conference for ages 5-12. Those 13 and up are allowed to attend conference sessions. Nursing babies are always welcome.
Early bird registration is due March 25 and runs $35 per person (spouse and older children are free). Registrations sent in after this date or those at the door are $45. If you wish to attend only the curriculum fair, the fee is $15 per person (spouse is free).
Additional conference information can be found here: MPE Conference Overview 2011.
My husband and I are planning to attend again this year and would love to have fellow CHEA families join us!
