Begin thinking NOW about what you want as a group for next year.  Our group must grow and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of those in the group.

We do not need to continue doing what has been done just for the sake of tradition.  If something isn't working well, let's throw it out!  If you loved something, let's do more of it.  Whatever we do, let's plan it well so it will be valuable enough to take time out of our busy schedules for.  And if we decide on an activity, let's be committed to come so that all the children can have a rich experience.  It's always much more fun when there are enough people to actually do the activities planned.  Conversely, it is discouraging to work to plan something and have only 3-4 families show up.

So be thinking!!!  What field trip do you wish would get on the docket?  What would you like to see happening at the Moms' Meetings?  What would make you want to never miss one?  What academic or other activities would you like to see the children do together and how often?  What do YOUR children want to do?  And last, what will YOU do to help make these things happen?

Do you have ideas how to restructure the group to maximize its effectiveness and heighten its quality?  I want to hear them!!!

Please email your input to me after you and your family are done brainstorming.
