Family Day at PSU

Pitt State Family Day is always full of fun activities, but this year they are including a few educational opportunities with the fun! Registration is required by Friday, September 16th!

PSU Family Day Schedule
September 24, 2011

2:00-3:00pm - FREE pictures with Gus, Kids Games

3:00-5:00pm - Educational Fun
 *Technology for Kids - Hands on technology projects with PSU students!
 *Nature Reach - Tour Nature Reach and interact with different kinds of animals!
 *Planetarium - Tour the current night sky!

5:00-6:30pm - Kids Tailgate

PSU vs. William Jewell kick-off at 6:30pm.

Cost is $5 per child ages 12 & under and $7.50 per adult. This includes educational fun activities, tailgate dinner, and a free gift for each child. Football game tickets must be purchased seperately.

A FAMILY EVENT!!!

Come to Schlanger Park

on Thursday, May 5th

at 5:00pm

for a Mexican Theme Night.

Bring Mexican dishes and desserts  for a potluck dinner.  

Bring drinks to share.

Bring your own table service.

Robin will provide cups and ice.

We will begin eating at 5:45pm.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets for sitting.

(The shelter is not reserved due to expense.)

  Park Activities include:

sand volleyball, tennis, basketball courts, frisbee, horseshoe set, etc.

You will need to bring your own balls or frisbees.

Also, if anyone would like to research traditional Mexican games to play, like Mexican jumping bean races, etc., then that would be a fun option.

Those who are interested can prepare a Spanish song to sing or something to share about the holiday.  Those who want to can dress with a Mexican theme. 

We hope to have Spanish children's music to play.

 
If the weather is bad, we will cancel.
